VIPER on a Stick connects to over 100 IP cameras. It can record to local USB drives. And you can review your images as soon as they are recorded.

Like the VIPER box, VIPER on a Stick records Evidence as JPEG images, and uses no proprietary formats.

And VIPER on a Stick is convenient. You can unplug it from one computer, move it to a new computer, plug it in and you are ready to go.

Our Demo Version give you the experience of Viper on a Stick's Single Camera Version. Here are 8 easy steps to start using your Viper On a Stick (VOAS).
  • Download your trial version onto a USB Stick
  • Insert the VOAS USB stick into your computer. You will see a dialog box. Click on the VOAS icon. VOAS will start.
  • Insert one or two USB hard drives into your computer for storage. Click on Tools, Options, Image Output, Save To Disk and select your output drive letters.
  • Click on Tools, Options, Hardware Setup, Computer IP Setup. Set your computer to the correct IP configuration.
  • Click on Tools, Options, Hardware Setup, Camera Setup. Enter the IP Address, Port Number, User ID, and Password for your camera. Click Apply. (You can click on Configure IP Camera to double check your values). The camera will attach to VOAS and start showing you live images.
  • Click on the Disk Icons in the lower left. Select "Connect and Start Using This Drive".
  • Click on the Time Lapse icon and set a frame rate (top slider bar). Then click on the large circular button in the middle of the bar at the bottom, the Master Record button, to start Recording.
  • After some images have been recorded, click on the Reviewer icon at the top of the page. The Reviewer will let you see your recorded images.

  1. Click on the Help icon in the upper right and select User's Manual.
  2. Right click on any icon at any time.
  3. Go to www.vipertutorial.com. Enter "viper" and "ViperHelp".
  4. Call VayTek at 641-472-2227.
VOAS requires Windows 7, 2 GB of RAM and at least a 1.6 GHz processor.

VOAS will run on Windows XP32, but with limitations. Contact VayTek for more information.
