MicroTome is VayTek's high performance program for removing out-of-focus haze from microscope images. MicroTome supports 8,10,12, or 16 bit grayscale images and 24 bit RGB images. It supports tru PSF deconvolution with over 100 million calculations per image. Maximum haze removal time for a 1024 X 1024 grayscale image using Rapid Deblurring is about 4 seconds for most computer configurations. In some instances, images deconvolved with MicroTome are comparable to those acquired with a confocal microscope at a fraction of the cost. For researchers who need the highest quality output from their digital imaging system, MicroTome has been the software of choice for removing out-of-focus haze for more than fifteen years.

VoxBlast is a fully featured 3-D digital imaging application for science, engineering and medicine. It offers 3-D Measurement, 3-D Volume Visualization, and 3-D Rendering.VoxBlast is a volume rendering program written and maintained by the University of Iowa's Image Analysis Facility. It was designed as a general purpose rendering application for research. It accepts stacks of registered 2-D images and creates 3-D projections from any viewpoint using an alpha blending or surface rendering algorithm. It includes tools for pseudo- coloring, transparency, lighting, 2-D and 3-D measurements, 2-D slice viewing, cropping, seed fill, movie loop generation, filters, palette editing, surface extraction, polygon rendering, etc.
