Embedding Traces in Sectioned Slices of a Chick Embryo ![]() The two movie loops shown here illustrate the differences between an aligned stack and a non-aligned stack. The unaligned stack on the left jumps around from image to image. The aligned stack on the right is centered on the notochord. These images are much more consistent from one frame to the next. The black portion of the image on the right changes because the grayscale portion of the image has been shifted and rotated to create the alignment.
