Have you ever wanted to apply the same filter to a whole stack of images in a Gallery File? It can be a tedious task doing it one image at a time. With these modules you can easily apply many single image functions to a whole stack of images. Some of the multi-image functions include:

VoxBlast Interface
Lets you move easily from 2D processing to 3D processing using VoxBlast.

You can create a VoxBlast dataset definition file from a Gallery File.
You can extract a VoxBlast color palette from an RGB color image.
You can merge two or three color channels, e.g., rhodamine, fluorescein, and dape, into a single VoxBlast volume dataset to see all three channels simultaneously in 3D.

Trace to Volume
Uses the tracing functions to trace objects in a stack of images. This module will automatically save the traces to disk as a VoxBlast file. You can use VoxBlast to view the traces in 3D. You can also merge the grayscale images into the traces.

Volume Measurement / Volume Densitometry
Calculates the volume and density of specified objects in a Gallery File.

3D Views: Super TopView
Creates a topview composite of several optical sections. It is more sophisticated than other topview algorithms in that it attempts to retain only the focused portion of each image in the topview. MinMax - will create a topview from several optical sections using a sophisticated combination of minimum and maximum point projection. 3D creates projected views of a Gallery File from several angles, including top, bottom, left, right, front, etc. 3D Color and B/W Movie Loops - creates a movie animation form a stack of images. Orthogonal Views - simultaneusly view top, front and side views of individual slices in the 3D volume.

Stereo Pairs
Create a stereo pair from a Gallery File, create a red/blue anaglyph from a stereo pair, and measure depth on a pair of stereo images.

VolumeScan
Many customers upgrade their microscope systems with peripherals to automate optical sectioning. This module will control several x, y and z axis motors, filter wheels, shutters and cameras. It includes serial talk, a general purpose peripheral control module. VolumeScan informational link

Photometrics Camera Support
The Photometrics module controls the 200 camera series. It works seamlessly with the VolumeScan module to automate optical sectioning.

Improve Signal/Noise Ratio
When using integrating cameras, it is sometimes necessary to integrate for a long period of time to capture the fainter portions of the specimen (e.g., dendrites of a neuron). However, this will saturate the brighter portions of the image. Desaturate restores the saturated portion of the image. Also, you can normalize a Gallery File for photobleaching. The Backgrund Suppression module lets you identify and suppress the background in an image, leaving the signal untouched.

Slice Align: Automated Image Registration
When working with histological slices, acquire and align an image of each slice with this module. The first step is to align the images manually. Then, you can have the module fine tune the registration automatically.

X, Y, Z Stage Control with Pattern Recognition
Turnkey system controls x, y and z stage motors and extracts information from images. The system can be customized for a wide variety of applications.
